JOB PURPOSE
To provide leadership for the Zone in order to obtain profit contribution by managing staff; establishing and accomplishing business objectives and increasing tiGO’s market share.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor, Motivate and supervise day-to-day work of commercial, technical, sales managers and other staff in the zone.
• In coordination with the Marketing team, develop and execute marketing programs and sponsorships associated with the growth of the TIGO brand in the regions.
• To ensure that the business is operated to the highest standards in line with the mission statement and values.
• Agree objectives in line with business and brand objectives and values, and ensure Managers carry out appraisals with the teams.
• Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety.
• Build Relationships with the local authorities and the community that we operate in.
• Grow the subscriber base and increase market share.
• Manage region’s annual business planning process and subsequent compliance with approved budget.
• Proactively manage costs efficiently and maintain a well-controlled environment.
• Manage regular reporting of information to the Chief Commercial Officer.
• Lead the team to meet plans and targets and maximise performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• University degree in Business Administration/management.
• MBA or Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• Minimum 7 years work experience (with at least 5 years in Leadership role or managing teams) in FMCG or Telecommunication.
• Excellent in oral and written communication skills
